Tech workshops and programs for beginners to experienced professionals
What We Do
Duro Workforce provides hands-on engineering training for beginners getting started in tech to professionals advancing to the next level. Duro programs cover practical job readiness skills in mechanical, electrical and computer fields, with career pathways at both the postsecondary and postgraduate level.
Why We Do What We do
Today, the United States is experiencing a shortage of job-ready professionals in STEM fields. This is a result of too few high school students pursuing STEM-track majors in college and a lack of the hands-on experience desired by employers among these graduates. Duro Workforce provides practical training to help bridge the gap between academia and the workforce, and to help professionals further advance in their careers.
Duro is a proud workforce partner of the Advanced Robotics Manufacturing (ARM) Institute, part of the Manufacturing U.S.A. network of institutes, the City College of New York, SUNY Maritime, NYC Department of Education, NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and the Bronx Borough President's Private Industry Council (PIC).
Alumni of Duro’s corporate training, known as Duro Pros, have achieved competitive jobs and internships at top companies:
